A very athletic and clever comic fight scenario, with a great rhythmic accompaniment, from the 1994 Pocono Renaissance Faire, as performed by a few members of our remarkable acting company as one of their 6+ shows per day. The stage here is a unique one, designed by the ADs and Buildings and Grounds supervisor Glen Johnson (the same builder extraordinaire who built the Endgame Stage at Mt Hope and who transformed the Poconos grounds from amusement park to a picturesque Elizabethan village among waterfalls with almost a dozen stages and a joust arena in 3 months, despite widespread opinion that it was nigh impossible), featuring not one but two giant dunke tanks made from oaken wine vats. A fine cast in great shape includes Anita Kane, Barry Lambert, Tony Foley, Sherry Handa, Tim Klotz Davenport, Fitz Holloway, Wendy Gentile, Christine Torchia Gordon, Thomas Jones, Dono Cunningham, Joan Afton, and Brendan Beiser. Directed by Brian Belge. Fight choreography by Michael Donahue. Producing/Artistic directors, Dennis Collins Johnson and Brian Belge.
