    how did u train ur knee to do xfj 720 again?

    i also had knee injury and am training to try 720 again

    but it isn't helping too much

    i tried some weight and squats but it doesn't seem to work on the jumping height or power etc

    still only landing on 540 or 630

    so u have some tips on recovering or special training for the 720?

  • not really! i`m working a lot by watching my jumps on video and i do rythem training. in your situation i would do just a handfull jumps each training . 1x 540 relaxed, 1x 720 . than try to remember the rythem .and try one 720 in mabu - but not too fixed, its just to see how much (power,turn) you still need - this should help ;) and its an relaxed way to get back the 720 without destroying your knees! anyway, its like riding a bike .once you did it, you´ll never loose it!

  • it's only kinda frustrating that i can't get back to the 720 degrees anymore

    cuz i think my injury messed up the jumping power or plyomatric muscles of my leg

    or it's the kicking speed of the leg

    ow well, guess i can't force it :)

  • Nice! i wish i could do 720's again now. even though i couldn't land in mabu or splits yet i mean i had hte flexibility but not the height to land in them. Damn injuries always getting in the way of success. But now i am back to doing 540's soo had to get that last twist now....... *sigh*
