A new documentary that focuses on one of the most important gigs in Manchester's popular music history. The film reflects on Dylan's iconic/iconoclastic performance at the Free Trade Hall in 1966 and assesses the impact of the event on the development of the rock canon. The video features interviews with three people that were in the audience for the infamous 'Judas' concert in Manchester: CP Lee is a renowned authority on Dylan and penned the definitive account of the gig ('Just Like the Night - Revisited'); Mark Makin, artist and photographer, captured images of the gig that have appeared all over the world; and, Mike Bowden, musician and songwriter, reflects from his position as a member of the folk purist section of the 1966 audience.
The film was conceived and produced by David Leaver and Lawrence Green of MMUBS, and directed and filmed by Rowan Dickinson
