I'm no expert skier, haven't been since I was 12. I live near a bunch of ski stations in the Alps now so I want to learn. This video doesn't teach the wedge, since it only seams to be a beginner move, is it wise to just skip it?

These are unequivocally the most informative and well produced ski instruction videos on YouTube. Thank you very much for uploading.

Can anyone work out the accent of the commentator? Australian?

I think it's a British accent. Definitely not Australian.

i was doing blues on snowboard by the 2nd afternoon decently, snowboarding and skiing are both fun, even when its your first time. The learning curve is definitely steeper at first for snowboarding but once you can start linking basic turns, its soo fun, especially on powder.
