EVE Online - Probing tutorial

This is an explained example of how you can scan down cosmic signatures in EVE. For new explorers this video will greatly assist you in the scanning process of exploration. Regards, Zeatrix Antheria.

EDIT: The video is relatively old now (30-09-2011), but the content should still be reliable! CCP made a few graphical changes, and minor adjustments to the mechanism of probing.

@Droopah1 Red globe means only 1 probe is pickin up the signal. Just position all the others around it so its fully covered as shown in the vid. Red arrow is the same as the dots in the vid i belive, its' just an old video.

what were you using in the first High slot?

hey, I don't ever get any of the red markers to guide me where signals are. I get 99.9% signals and I get no red dots or the other markers. Aghhh and I'm only on the exploration tutorial missions.
