I've had mine pierced for 7 months now and it's fully healed :) it didn't hurt when I got it.. But hurts afterwards. It gets difficult to sleep, becuz I got both ears pierced with cartilage.

I took it out for a game, when I cheered and it closed.

Dont worrry, I got a 16 gauge needle and that didnt hurt me.
I have thick cartilage too and I hate needles.
