The Godfather parody

I directed three film parodies, The Godfather, Silence Of The Lambs and Scarface. for a TV show pilot called "In The Can", hosted by Greg O'Rourke & Billy Forester.

All the parodies were shot on 35mm film to match the original feature films visual style and aspect ratio.

This was an interesting project because it involved already shot film I had to mach new footage to. I did a test with my DP Jarrod Oswald on video and cut a rough edit to make sure eye lines and camera moves matched the original characters with Greg and Billy.

I hope you enjoy these parodies as much as I do...

I want to say that this is video is predictable...and not terribly clever. I sensed what was going to happen BEFORE it happend.
