@RyuNoZero Same reason they only gave the US V and VI in Anthology but released IV, V, VI in the "Collection" in Japan, Square-Enix loves milking money from it's customers especially when Final Fantasy is concerned.

@RyuNoZero Lol, FFXV shouldn't be in the works for a long long time. FFXIV completely tanked on release and I've been playing it for free this entire time because even SE thought it sucked. In fact they fired the whole dev team and brought in the XI team to work on it. In terms of FF games they're focusing on FFXII-2, FFXIII:Versus, and FF:Type 0 (formerly known as XIII: Agito).

I've never played the NES version of this game but have played the ds version, and it sucks. However i don't know anyone who prefers the ds version over the NES version and to be honest ff3 looks like an rpg that was sensational for its time. I have to play it

@SuperTemplar2 Well, I have my reasons. For example, at the beginning of the track, the 8-bit version establishes the insistent rhythm with its noise-track percussion better than the orchestral version does with strings on offbeats. And it's that beat that really drives the momentum of the track, here and later in the track as well (starting with that phrase that begins with an F major chord).
