She tries to make amends with Kelly after overhearing her push Brandon to evict her. She checks into a motel across the street from the bluff where she once contemplated suicide with David. Brandon finds a suicide note in his room and learns Val's probable location from David.

Totally agree, I hate Kelly too. No offense towards anybody, but her character is so stupid, snobbish, self-centered, bitchy, plus she's a total slut and BACKSTABBER, she thinks so much of herself and is convinced she can criticize anybody else. Val was no saint, but she wasn't either; actually, I think Kelly was the WORST HYPOCRITE on the show, while Val surely acted wrong, but wa also heavily damaged from her past. Happy holidays to everybody ;-)
