I saw this movie on tv some 43 ys. ago.

I just caught this movie today thanks to my cable company - it was lovely. The lead actors were so attractive. It speaks to the horrors and destruction of war, but, we never learn the lesson for long before it's forgotten in the pursuit of patriotism and machismo.

God I loved this movie - I am from the UK and do not speak Russian. The subtitles were no problem. The beauty of the two young protagonists was breathtaking as was the acting. The Russians in those days could really tell a great story and it must be one of my favourite films. Thank you for this.

I'm from Pakistan. And previously had hard liner views on world politics. But this movie has changed me forever. I salute to the director. for making this master piece .Innocence of Shura was breathtaking. It is probably the best movie I have ever saw. I also recomend seeing movie "Forty First".

An armour of sides, backs and bottoms of tanks is relative weak. This AT rifle (PTRD-41) was able to reliable penetrate (middle) tank's front armour at distance 25-40 meters. At distance 300 meters it could penetrate 35-40mm armour.
