Third part of the parade. On display are T-72 MBTs, BMP-1, BM-23s, 122mm Gvozdika amphibious self-propelled howitzers, B110 Tundja Self-propelled mortars, Mercedes-Benz combat jeeps, BTR-60s, BM-21 Grad rocket launchers, Konkurs mobile anti-tank vehicle, D-20 towed howitzers, SS-21 Scarab-B (9K79) missile launchers, and other armored vehicles.

@petros311 I wasn't speaking about tanks as a concept but about the tanks vs. tanks battles ;)

@tbyte i think the consept of the tanks cannot replaced by other systems, yes missiles can destroyed them, but the anti-missile systems who destroy A/T missiles already make their appearance, just there is not alternative solution for the tanks with some other system, tanks provide good armor protection with good firepower, and mobility on and off roads. the tank vs missile war would continue untill they invent something that can replace tanks on their mission

what type of T-72 bulgaria have? T-72M? there are the old export models with steel armor? or has also composite armor like T-72A/BV?

@JIMY45GR true , we need an upgrade to T-90 ;) . But tanks vs. tanks battles should be thing of the past soon. Missiles and artillery should be used against tanks. And then tanks against troops. War should not be fair ;)
