Starcraft 2 Challenge Mission 5 - Psionic Assault (Protoss) - Getting Gold

Achieving the Gold rank in the Challenge Mission "Psionic Assault" (Starcraft 2)

In this Challenge Mission, you have to keep your 11 Sentries and 6 High Templar alive for as long as possible while disposing of various waves of enemies. To obtain the Gold rank, you have to kill 225+ of the enemy attacker's units without succumbing to their attacks.

By getting gold on all 9 challenge missions, you unlock a pretty sweet portrait to use on Battle.net: "Spectre". It looks like a black-ops ghost or something of the sort.

you sould use psionic storm

@yuen10rocks I do use psionic storm when necessary. The point of this challenge is to survive as many waves of enemies as possible, with no reinforcements. That means that every bit of energy used needs to be necessary, not just convenient.

I tried it but the range units can actually attack up the ramp wtf?

@petertheasian either your forcefields are too far up the ramp, or your units are too far down the ramp. wait for units to be pressing against your forcefield, then send your sentries in to make the concave. Hold position once they are in position.
