Whats a bug flight???

kaperic-I have a Doodlebug and Discovery 195S but the seat of the Bug 'fouls' the bottom bar. This has happened since I had an XL Bug seat fitted (I'm 5' 10" and my head wouldn't go back between the risers in the standard seat)! May I know - How tall you are? Is your Bug a standard seat?

hello i have a couple of questions first i`m 12 years old am i aloud to use one of those, or do you need a licence? Also at 0:51 what is that for? And last how much do these cost and can you teach your self? Please answer

I think 12 is a bit young. In England you have to be 16 to fly solo, and I don't expect you'd find any instructors willing to train you at your age. I would definitely not recommend trying to teach yourself, it's not quite as easy as it looks. The cost for new equipment would be in the region of 7,000 GBP,much less for 2nd hand kit. At 0:51 I am putting my feet in the stirrup, which makes it more comfortable and retracts the skids at the rear. Are you in the UK? More info at bhpa.co.uk.

what is that in his mouth?

It's a mouth throttle, we use it for takeoff because we need both hands to control the glider. If the takeoff goes wrong you spit it out and the engine goes back to idle.

I'm 5'9". I think it is the standard seat, bought the bug 2nd hand. Is yours a Mk1 or a Mk2?
