http://www.FatLossBlogger.com - Today was day 29 of P90X, the first day of phase 2. In addition to a few changes in my diet (mainly an increase in carbs), there are also some new routines added to the mix.

I had the chest, shoulders, and triceps workout today for the first time and I loved it. I've heard some horror stories about this DVD so I was a little nervous, but it wasn't too bad.

I had Ab Ripper X after the chest, tri's and shoulders routine and it went well also.

The diet continues to go well. The phase 2 diet calls for an increase in daily carbs so I added oatmeal and an extra whole wheat bagel to the mix today.

  • may or may not help ya, on the mason try leaving your feet on the ground and leaning back like your in a lazy boy wha that will do is engage your core by leaning back and work the obligues by the twist and take some of the pressure off the lumbar, good update as always!

  • JP, awesome job making it to phase II! Mason Twist actually has been tweaking my back a bit too, but I think it is more a posture thing for me. I hope that's the only problem anyway. Glad to see things are going great!

  • I do the abs before the other workouts, I dont find it affects the anarobic workout that follows and I get the most important area done with bette form. Phase 2 soon too, adding a bagel to the diet as well, and some pasta.
