(Same HP) Gas = Speed Diesel=Force
I have one Gas (Cosworth 260km/h Real speed) and one Diesel (1.9TDI Passat 205km/h Real Speed) I mean Real cause the dash board speed its not real, u need some tools or a good GPS to know this. The Gas its mutch more faster, true... put 5 ppl inside and put all the trunk full.. then testit again ;) Diesel still on his 205km/h SPENDING THE SAME FUEL. Gas wont do this =/ So Gas or Diesel, depends of what u want... not better not worst....

first is 1.8t check the rpm camerai is in car with 5000-that is diesel idiot!!

@S3l3ct1ve 1.8t can be easily tuned as well. I got one - passat 3bg 150HP & 194HP, just ECU remapped, that's all. The difference: from 9,2 to 7,1s t o100kmh. That's a lot for me. And 210&280Nm (Torque)

he didint loosed that much, i expected more from 1,8T :/
anyway i bet the diesel is way more cheaper to tune and economy wont be effected that much after the tunning.. what you need nozzels and chip, well turbo can wait i guess unleas you want near 200hp :) this change would be way more cheaper than for the 1,8T probably :)

i had a 1.8t passat b5. my friend has a golf tdi 140hp (stock 110hp). ok i know the golf if lighter. and i can tell you i did not had a chance on a drag race. never. the TDI is f???? fast. it goes till 200 like nothing. my 1.8t needed longer for this. not to mention the new 2.0tdi's. but the sound is really shit!
