these may not be the "best" from zendikar, but they are my top picks, based on my preferences. and here's why I chose these cards.

Harrow: not necisarily for landfall, but just for mana fixing. and I've always been a fan of mana ramp.

Conqueror's Pledge: gives White another bomb, I'll probably never use it, but 6 guys for 5, a rather solid card.

Spell Pierce: how annoying are Lightning Bolt, Path to Exile and Maelstrom Pulse. this card gives you a pretty good answer to those cards, and cards like Luminarch Ascension.

Obsidian Fireheart: I've always loved putting pressure on my opponents, and forcing them to do things they don't want to do. getting their mind off their game. this card does a pretty good job at that.

Gatekeeper of Malakir: definately not Shriekmaw, but just as effective. and gives you the answer to Wall of Denial and Great Sable Stag.

Malakir Bloodwitch: shuts down Baneslayer, what else do you need.

Sorin Markov: best planeswalker from zendikar. balanced abilities, and doesn't require other cards to make it work.

Luminarch Ascension: one of my favorite cards, and can't wait to actually get to use it. just a really annoying card, with fogs and such.

Goblin Guide: it's at #6 because I look at it for what it is, one red for a 2/2 haste. just look past the 2nd effect. and I'm a big fan of the bushwacker deck. seems pretty good.

Kor Skyfisher: another card from the bushwacker deck. early beats, 2 for a 2/3 flyer, bouncing back Teetering Peeks. if you haven't seen that deck, then check it out.

Bloodghast: umm.. maybe my favorite card from Zendikar. definately the best landfall ability in my opinion. yeah it can get path'd and this and that, but it still doesn't change how awesome this card is.

Vampire Nighthawk: best mana curve card from Zendikar. makes vampire decks hard to get around, also helps Jund.

Day of Judgment: THANK GOD! couldn't have been more happy to see a replacment for Wrath.

the Fetch Lands: as big a fan of mana ramp, just as much a fan of mana fixing. obviously friendly colors would have been super nice. but I'll take what they give me.

well that's why I picked these cards. some may be good, some might be bad reasons. live and learn I guess, haha. thanks for the comments, and for watching the video. take care.

  • I use spell pirce in my kor deck lol

  • lol, that's cool. I hate blue, but I think it's a good card.

  • i suggest you contest this copyright claim. claiming fair use protection and no profit motive worked for me, at least... i have a playlist or two about copyright stuff.

  • how do I do that?

  • @hadesdude18 I use korfisher together with Wall of Omens

  • @hadesdude18 it's been 3 months since u posted that comment. u should know by now why kor skyfisher is good.

  • i dont understand why goblin guide's ability is considered good, doesnt it just (potentially) give them a land?

and why is kor skyfisher considered good? i thought that its ability would be a HUGE drawback.

  • i got a Sorin Markov in the cheapest intro pack i could buy lol i just started

  • these might help? i've got playlists full of copyright related stuff.
