Episode 1

-Amy-

I opened my eyes. I slept on my back, which was pretty unusual. It's probably because I'm stressed about school. Usually, it doesn't bother me at all. I mean, after two months of summer vacations, it's normal that you have to go back to school. However, one thing was different this year. I'm beginning in a new school.

Last June, just before the summer vacations started, my mom AND my dad lost their job, and that on the same day. That was devastating for us. My mom was a secretary at the elementary school a few streets away from my house, and my dad was a web designer for a company I don't even remember the name. They both had a good salary and made enough money to put me in a private school. But sin d dad hasn't found a new job yet, and that my mom barely makes enough money to pay for the food and the electricity bill with her new salary, I had to change school. Now I'll go at the public school a few streets away from my house. Usually, I would be happy, because I would come back with some of my friends from elementary school that went there in seventh grade, but since I moved here when I was 13, I didn't go to the elementary school with everybody else in the neighbourhood. Now I'm 16, I don't know anybody at that school, and trust me, I'm freaking out!

I looked at the time: 6:00 am. That's perfect. I have to be at the bus station at 8:02 am. I put shorts and a t-shirt on and quietly went outside, trying not to disturb my parents sleep. I have a habit of running every morning. I've been doing this for a month now. I follow one simple rule: "Amy, You have to run 2.5 kilometres before you allow yourself to take a shower" It's my mom who said that to me, and it works so well. There's no way I can go to school without taking a shower.

Outside, the streets were empty; Looks like nobody's going at work that early. I came home all sweaty, and quickly went in the shower. Nothing's better than the feeling of the hot water all over your body. Then I stood in front of the mirror and looked at myself, trying to get some confidence before facing my new world.

I'm going to be honest with you but I haven't read your new series at all. And I'm going to but I'm not expecting anything great. Your last series started out not making any sense but then it got great! But then it got to silly and unrealistic. And quick question. How many times did they say Positive for the baby "Kevin" to learn it. Plus if it was his first word it would be mama or dada because positve has WAY too many strong sounds. Gunna read your story now tho. Hope I'm not wasting my time:\
