I can't wait to see how it compares to 1995. But usually they all have a good take / lense on the story one way or the other!

Each version has it's own really good parts. I've never seen this one before but the first thing that strikes me is that this Elizabeth is the most beautiful one I've seen. If you overlook the poor quality (however this is 1980 we're tallking about) it seems very good. :)

My favourite P&P is the one from 1995, you just got to love Colin Firth as Darcy :) Also the mother in that one i just brilliant! :) Either way, I like all version because I love the book. Just keep them coming, I say. =)

Just stumbled upon this & am so happy to find it! Saw it when it first came out & it is the best P & P--all parts perfectly cast. Better than the versions w/ Olivier or Colin Firth or Keira Knightley. Thank you so much for posting this!
