GeoSnippits Geocaching Tutorial Videos hosted by our very own lovable HeadHardHat gives you an interesting introduction about all the special items you may need while geocaching. We receive many viewer requests and this episode was created for that very reason. Shown on Michigan Magazine TV (RFDTV) in 2009. This video shows you all those special thinga-ma-bob items to help make your geocaching experience better. Geocachers with little or no experience will enjoy these episodes as much as the more experienced geocachers will.   • Good tips. Where do you get those telescopic hooks? I'm in the uk.

  • a multitool recently save the day when i found my first nano cache i never would have gotten that tiny paper out otherwise.

  • if you cant reach it... dont use a stick a get it. you wont be able to put it back

  • Mirrors are also handy for checking in places where you can't see because of the angle. I also carry extra o-rings to replace the ones on nanos and bison tubes that disintegrate when you open them. I buy them in packs of 50 for $1 from the flea market. Oh, and swag and travel bugs for trading of course. But those aren't necessities like sunscreen, bug spray and baby wipes!
