  • It doesn't look like any more than about 60 mph at that location. It looks like the roofing paper was old and rotten the way it crumbled up and disintegrated as it blew off. This is what happens when roofing paper is not regularly replaced in a timely manner before it rots. If it wasn't rotten, it would not have blown off. The guy in the video had no problem standing perfectly upright too.

  • @cape6000jkg If you watch the wind flips over one of those giant heavy metal trash dumpsters end over end so that takes some strong wind. When the guy was outside the strong gust was already over, it only lasted for 15 seconds then was over. But, yes the roof was made of cheap materials.

  • @jerbod2 Thanks !

  • June 1rst?

  • I had to laugh at that store clerk. He was more concerned about his store than the storm. Powerlines flashing and shit. LOL!

  • What the hell was that roof made of? Cardboard???

  • This happened one day last summer here in Fayetteville NC. Except it was a beautiful sunny day, all of a sudden it got cloudy very fast. Being from NYC,my experiences with severe weather are quite few. Suddenly doors here started flapping and banging in the wind, lawn chairs and everything that wasn't attached to something, started blowing towards us and the fence.lasted for about 10 min. Was very bizarre, and what I'd imagine was merely a fragment the strength of a what a true tornado.would be.

  • It goes to show you tornados are not the only thing to worrie about during a severe thunder storm just straight line winds and even dowmbursts can cause enough damage.

  • @Haggismaker lol ikr

  • Are the winds 70 mph or less?

  • at 1:15 that sky is beautiful

  • It doesn't take much wind to flip some dumpsters, especially if one is near a building where compression or wind-tunnel effect is occurring.

  • Stay inside you idiot!!!!!!!

  • I would love to have a parachute - put it on and pull the cord !
