This is the infamous "pre-reunion" performance in which Joey joined The Breeders onstage at Spaceland.

  • This is more a document despite the low quality of sound & vision. Very good you filmed it (but please buy a better 'phone :D !).

  • @Festivum01 Not a phone..a digital still camera in MPEG mode. Yes i've got a "better" camera, but they weren't allowed... I guess this is a case of of "beggars can't be choosers"... a document, yes -- but obviously a lot more from the response I have gotten. I guess, by the same token, they could have used better recording equipment for Neil Armstrong so it wasn't so scratchy...

  • I have to admit, it gave me goosebumps

  • thanks...of course, you can imagine how i felt...i was there!!

  • If I were there, my veins would blow because of adrenaline degree. Never mind low quality, this one makes me inside-out with energy

  • thanks for your comment..we all were blown away!

  • Maybe this isn't the song to comment onthis, but why doesn't Joey santiago ever get mentioned when people talk about legendary rock guitarists? He's Johnny Marr on steroids. my opinion. King of Alt ROCK!

  • @mrpiki dude same im asking

  • why is it infamous?

  • @lsinger9404 sorry to make 3 (oh no, with this 4) replies, but I think the text in total was to long, so have to cut it in to little pieces.

And that's an old song from another favourite: Pink Floyd, but that's quite another story ;) .

  • @lsinger9404 By then internet came and later on sites as youtube, google, etc. and it was possible to see them live in action. And it's just as energetic as the album versions.Videoclips of Pixies and Breeders of studio songs are quite rare I assume. And don't forget the fresh appearances of Kim!

After all this years (more than 20?!) Kim is still as cute!

  • @lsinger9404

When I heared this song from the first time back in 88/89 or so, I didn't like the continious 'gigantic-gigantic-gigantic'-parts. But over the years I learned to listen to the song. It was both the guitar parts and overwhelming appearance of Kim (voice and looks) that made it.

  • @lsinger9404 Good reply ;) !
