What the fuck is going on with these guys. If there was a D3D version of BLOOD I would fuckin' buy it!!! There would be money for them. I love this fucking game. Its awesome. The plot, the atmosphere, the enemies, the sounds. I grew up with BLOOD. Give us the fucking source code!!!

The blood source code is I think being held by Matt Saettler a former code designer and stuff for monolith and the code is also being held by other sources. According to my sources Matt does not want to release the code for fear of legal issues the only other people I think who might have it is warner bros, Atari and thats about it. I think if all the fans get together and tell them we want the code and how badly we need it they might just consider it but people have been trying for years.

source code lost for Blood so you'll never get any 'pack' with new features on it.
this was bloodbath remake of Blood on one of the quake engines.
dang it, won't let me post a URL for the source of the quote, PM me if you want the source.

B.S. Here's an excerpt from Transfusion and Joe Siegler who owns the source code.....
-----------------------------------------------
Frightfan: ok... why not?
The reason I ask is because there is a great deal of support for the idea of releasing the source code for BLOOD, from Monolith Productions. They used the BUILD engine, so they can't release the source code without BUILD's owner's approval.
Who owns BUILD?
Joe Siegler: We own Build - and we're not interested in releasing any of it.

Single player?

Not yet, they're still working on it. Staff is limited and few in between. Not like they can have a full paid staff and have the game out in less than 3 years. This is a free project and it takes time.
