  • this is what will happin if we fuck with alien territory :P we should just mind our own fucking bisnuss and stay on our damm PLANET! (sorry for the bad spelling)

  • look at the joy on her face as she twirls around, yes this is a movie but wow she really played her part dancing in xero gee and 'woodie' was a super supporting actor DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY is how we should live our lives. Do it, just get your friends together, have a back yard party and dance the night away. Time is not promised to any of us just do it.

  • 13:29 Blatant product placement!!

  • @seb2455 actually the problem is technological because the probability of the crew arriving safely and alive to mars and then returning to the earth is very remote. fundamentally we would need a propulsion system that would enable a crew to travel to mars in less than a month's time and returning in the same time frame. otherwise, it will become a one way mission which is suicide. however the technology would be exceptionally expensive and the public would not support it.

  • @SocratesTheGadfly More then likely 2030 to 2035 maybe closer if china start to militarize space it's the next frontier If instead then spending 600 billions a year on ground and Air military the USA would spend it on space exploration we'd already had been there. The problem is not the technology but the financial and political will to go. We went to the moon 40 years ago whit a 2000 years adjusted budget of 135 billions $

Truth is peoples dont care about space it would take a world commitment

  • @deathrooster14 this movie is PURELY FICTIONAL and is supposed to take place some time in the 21st century. my instinct and speculation is that a martian landing will more than likely NOT occur within the next 89 years. hence, the fictional 21st century as portrayed in this movie will more than likely NOT happen.

  • @SocratesTheGadfly Yes, but the 21st century isn't fictional. :D

  • My favorite scene in the whole film. :)

  • it is great to see that Van Halen will still be popular well into the fictional 21st century. HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!
