This clip used to drive me crazy as a kid because when he writes "VIII" you can see that the column he is writing on isn't actually a square column, but a flat wall made to look like a column. It is STILL messing with my head.

Yes, that drove me crazy when I was a kid as well and still does! I guess it makes sense that people who are into the orderliness of math would be driven crazy by such a thing.
