@stoshuss If you have an eyewitness report, you should contact the investigating body and let them know what you saw.

@stoshuss The investigation is not complete (!) but the mostly likely cause is deployment in flight of the thrust reverser on outermost engine on the right wing. On takeoff, this could cause a great imbalance of thrust on the left side of the airplane and tend to push the left wing up. Without prompt pilot action the plane would stall in just the way the video demonstrates.

@antimatterXXXIII I was on Sharjah golf course about 200 yards from the crash,we saw the plane in trouble shortly after take off,the nose was high in the air and wasn't gaining altitude,then it banked hard right and straight into the ground. Maybe someone who knows about flying can explain why it crashed after reading my account of the crash?

Something to consider given the high angle of attack is shift of cargo causing a too-far aft center of gravity, or even mistaken loading of the cargo without proper attention to center of gravity. A normal 707 takeoff is almost flat. Perhaps the pilot was forgetting this and tried to fly the plane like a 737.

1) This seemed a very high angle of attack for an old 707 on takeoff 2) something fell off 3) without thrust of all four engines this plane is very prone to stalling on takeoff 4) the fall from the sky indicates a classic stall. I can't understand why anyone would be flying 707s these days unless they have meticulous attention as relics. Find a 727 somewhere!!
