Well the positioning of the intake is way out of the reach of water ingestion. Intakes out there can't do this. AEM has a water bypass which you need to buy separately which evaporates occasional water ingested and protects the engine but still with 1 foot of water your screwed. So far this is safest I've seen and most powerful one w/ 7hp and 10 torque for as little as $187 at JC Whitney. Best bang for your buck. You really need to go swimming w/ the car to screw this one up.
