  • I see it like that too. But they make you pay for the trainig, pay for SLB isnt that good and the hours are really bad. I think thats why most people stick it for 2 - 4 years tops.

  • woodnic, i work as a consultant and often get work from slb when they are in they are in the shit or just too stupid and dumb to do the job themselves. I'd rather clean toilets at McDonalds than go on slb's books!

  • @LickTheShaft You still working for SLB???? In which segment are you and where are u stationed?

i´ve just signed with them as a FE with IM status. Don´t really know what to expect careerwise form SLB

  • @DrumFreak124 I did not mean pay as in money - I ment 'pay' as in you are going to work DAM hard for it.

  • @jimmah55555 no they dont they paid me just to fly out to kellysville and then paid me to fly back home

  • So if I am a machinists and I "joined" Schlumberger would that mean that I claim blue?

  • Slb is not boring dude, maybe u r just not good enough for handling it.

  • Nice pics for u being a field engineer :) just waiting for u guys to get ur shit together up here in North Dakota and take some of our 85% of the market share lol....i'd like a little more time off.... :) Go Big RED

  • @numako999 absolutely right, i do agree with you

  • I worked for them for 3 years as a cementing supervisor and even survived the layoffs of 2009. They perform their services as well as anyone. But they treat their people like crap!! Made us stay all night in the seats of our pickups on locations simply because it was not safe to drive home at night. I remember having to stay out when we finished a well @ 9:30 pm because we could not make it home before our 11:00 pm driving ban. We were 2 hours from home.
