@xxPithius10n1xx No, it is not! absolutely! although communism together! Vietnamese Communist is a kind of nationalism, they were fighting just for a united nation, independence, freedom and democracy!

I am an american and I can say I respect the vietnamese , they had the balls to stand up to the japanese, the french, the united states, and china they fought for just about 30 years straight. no matter what they believed democracy or communism they are all united together now.

The North Vietnamese Army (NVA) was/is the original fighting force of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

On the other hand, the Viet Cong were considered "guerrilla warriors" that mostly lived in South Vietnam. Guerrillas are basically people that try to blend-in with the community when it is appropriate, but then take-up arms against their enemies on a clandestine basis.

The NVA had "military uniforms" and a strict chain of command, whereas the Viet Cong had neither. not the same
