Marvin has a beautiful horn.I first heard him in the Kenton band.I didn't like it at first but I now have a love for the way he plays his horn and the beauty that comes out.He was with THAD AND MEL for a while he just got better each time I heard him play.KEEP IT UP Marv.

The trumpet player gets all the glory (and well deserved I might add), but he's backed by a terrific sounding group, that cannot go unnoticed.

Why care about the horn and what ever he's done to it. The notes coming out, the notes coming out, the notes coming out are all that matter. He'd play the same on any of our horns.
