@flamedrag18 The groundhog was caught off guard as this Jack Russell is quick with a lock bite and does not release.
I have seen him go after raccoon with the same technique.
Not a scratch with the groundhog fight. Although he chewed and swallowed so much hair that he acquired a giant fur ball in his gut and he could not shit!
I fixed him with about 1 -1/2 ounce of olive oil that acted as a laxative. He exploded out of both ends and was happy.

@dannerfarmer Shot a rabid Raccoon with a slug gun a few days ago. He was just walking around the compound area in broad day light. Raccoons that are not afraid and wandering about during daylight are not healthy.
