  • I'm surprised by the the tone you get out of your line6 pod, it's quite decent actually. From time to time i use a line6 toneport to record some ideas but it doesn't sound nearly as good as this.

  • @DG320 Almost all of the tones that came with the PODxt I found unusable but alas it is programable so I downloaded loads of tones that I thought might be ok and analysed their settings. I then found/formulated some tones that I actually liked. They are mainly based on the Plexi Lead 100.

  • Anyone know what key this is in?

  • The Tokais are Better made than stock les paul standards . That is a FACT . The Jap tokais are quite desirable . I played a KOREAN tokai which had the best neck Ihave EVER played , . Yet I still wont part with my 77 les paul . WEIRD HUH ?

  • @peterm3964 One of the best sounding Les Paul's I have ever owned was a Tanglewood with Entwistle humbuckers, but I won't give up my Gibson Les Paul Gold Top 57 reissue from the Art & Historic division! I s'pose we all play & listen with eyes rather than ears!!!!

  • @arewethereyetband I had a 57 custom shop reissue les paul in TV YELLOW !!! . It was great . AHH so many geetars .. so litttle cash >

  • @whitbyjet65 I'll have a pint of what this guy's on, please!

  • Your soloing is great but the accompaniment is far off. There's an extremely obvious diminished chord in there (4sharp diminished... A# dim in the key of E, where King and Greene recorded it). And the turn around chords are C#7, F#7, B7, E (the extremely standard 6, 2, 5 1 turnaround progression). Missing that turnaround and the diminished chord changes it all... and not for the better.

  • Just can't stop listening to this song, you are such an outstanding guitar player. And you play Tokai's Which in my head beat any guitar on the market.

  • @peterm3964 not weird thee is no such thing as too many guitars
