  • I think they are all well-spoken. Taylor gives easier, more glib answers. He is very young and it seems he does not think as deeply or introspectively as Kristen or Rob so he may appear more well spoken but he has less to say.

Sometimes people who are profound do not appear at ease because they are searching for a serious answer.

  • it's funny how rob & kristen laugh when the lady butts in, like they knew it was coming.

  • @sallyrocks12 i had read them recently, but I have a different perspective. I'm not 'Team Jacob" I was intrigued by Edward in the 1st book but In the other books, I thought Edward's character was underdeveloped and that was disappointing since it started out as such a great idea, so maybe it's more of a commentary on Meyer's writing. Jacob's not perfect for her either but Bella's tendency toward puppy love with Edward got old. She just idealized him too much and it seemed more like infatuation.

  • @Boubala25 Huh. And when *I* read the books, I saw Jacob laying constant guilt trips on Bella, making her feel awkward and uncomfortable, pressuring her, insisting she didn't know her own mind, and then manipulating her by threatening to get himself killed. I don't actually remember her having much fun with him.

  • @sallyrocks12 Here's my opinion and reasons behind it. In the books, I have to prefer Jacob's character. Bella has more fun with him, he's less controlling, easier to relate to, tells her the truth, doesn't treat her like a child. When Bella describes Edward she only ever seems to describe how physically perfect he is without giving detail about him as a person. I got sick of " he's the most beautiful, wonderful, perfect, etc". Their love seems very immature in general and that bothered me.
