@dzanier I'm a Flyers fan but i understand that these guys technically had to take the Cup from the Flyers. The whole Good vs Evils thing. They did what they had to do.

@BoSoxnation1972 Im a bruins fan too......Trembly was a very good fighter just ask Bobby Schmatz but the B's are still the best!!!

In the 1976 Finals the Flyers ran into a team that not only was more skilled, but was as tough if not tougher than them. The Habs were not cheapshot artists, but they had some guys who you were better off not pissing off: Tremblay, Savard, Robinson, Risebrough, LaPointe. Even established NHL players were often intimidated by the Flyers, but the Habs weren't the least bit scared.

Roadrunner2192 t'es un esti de pourrie sale . Tremblay a livré tout un combat contre un très solide gaillard ! André Dupont mon pauvre tata était surement un des 10 plus solides bonhommes au beau du poing à cette époque. Mario a fait tout un job ! Excellent !!

I'm a Bruins fan and I'll take my hat off to Mario. Dupont was a goon, and Mario held his own and was 10 times the player Dupont ever dreamed of being! That being said, I still hate the Habs, but respect them.
