The train were slowing down to 220 km/h because of passing through the station and severe curve. The maximum speed is 300 km/h.

  • I think the trains in Denmark goes faster than the train in this video..

  • I love the shinkansen everytime i step on it.. it makes me not want to get off again.. ;) So smooth on the curves that I don't need to hold on to anything when I walk through the cabin as the train banks on the curves.. :D

  • You must go to HIMEJI station. Over 300km !!

  • Atami station would be the last station to spot trains passing, since they don't go over 190km/h through that station.

if you want speed on a Shinkansen, the go to Himeji, Aioi, Shin Kurashiki, Higashi-Hirosima, Shin-Iwakuni and Asa stations. You can choice one of them

    cheers.

  • Atami Station is the latest place in Tokaido Shinkansen. Speed limi is 185km/h. It slows down in a curve.

  • this is a not top speed.

  • This Atami-station is one of slowing-down point, speed limi is 255km/h.
