Blade Runner Umbrella Demo

My attempt to a Light Umbrella, as seen in the Blade Runner Movie by Ridley Scott. It's not a prop replica, and it's not made of a neon like in the original movie. However, it's safe enough and not fragile so that it can be really use as an casual umbrella (hopefully, the weather isn't as bad as in the movie, at least not everyday). Using the Crystal Focus Saber Core luxeon driver and sound board, the umbrella interacts like a Saber Hilt of some other movies. With the iSaber mode, the umbrella can also play music (here the movie sound track by Vangelis).

Nice! I have a fan-made demo of the Blade Runner universe on my channel.

The umbrella could be very useful for young padawans walking at night.

One doesn't know how many Sith Lords are lurking in dark alleys.

Does it come in different colors?

@csnfencing : LOL, that's exactly that, an umbrella as a light shield :-) The luxeon LED is swappable easily so the rod's light can be anything. The umbrella fabric I had a choice of blue and black IIRC.

Is there a mode to turn off the audio while keeping on the light?

@erikthewarm : yes, since there's 6 sound fonts in the hilt, one of it can be just silent sound files. In my latest version of the sound board, there's also a switch combo to mute the sound on the go while keeping the light (but the hum-brella has an older version unfortunately).

This is awesome!! Love it! You should totally build and Market these for the uk ( and other rainy countries ) ...listen to music, stay dry and see where your going in the dark! Job done. I'd buy one in a heartbeat and I know alot of my friends (who also love blade runner) would buy these :) keep up the great work!
