If you do not run VMWare (like the people in this video do) but you need to restore a dead server, you can see how it's done with this video.
It might have been nice to see how a command line backup could be used for the complete PC recovery. Is that any different or does the command line (wbadmin.exe) make a recoverable backup image like the GUI does?
