  • do you need to balance the blower wheel after installation? Mine self destructed after I replaced the motor - I'm thinking the welds on the wheel came apart....also I have a 3 speed motor - should I run it at medium or high?

  • Take photos, ingenious! I was going to make drawings!

  • Very clear and very complete! Thank you for being a hero! :)

  • Thanks for this great information on the video; it really help me with the replacement of the blower wheel replancement.

  • Thanks so much for this informative video! Do you recommend an on-line source for squirrel cages? Looks like my Carrier 58WAV will need one soon.

  • Awesome video. Thank you! I paid $89 for a service call to confirm that my blower wheel needed replacement. I was quoted a total of $430 to replace it, including $280 for the blower wheel itself. What a rip! I found the part for $65 on the internet and your video helped me replace it. Thanks again!

  • loved your video. Thank you. question. my blower motor is also making the knocking like a washer machine. I'd go buy both the motor and the blower wheel and get it over with.. but where can I find something like that? I'd love to walk into a store today and walk out with everything that I need.

  • no comments? I just wanted to say thank you! my AC started getting louder and louder in the past 24 hours, then started knocking like a washer machine, I dont know how to describe it. Anyways, turns out I needed a new blower wheel!!!! took the blower out, I noticed the blower wheel was broken/lose, your video walked me through everything!! and saved me $50-$100 service call... went down to the shop and bought a replacement wheel for $60.... THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME TO POST THIS!!!
