That's an AMI/Rowe JAO-200 while it may have been made in (very) late 1965 it was a 1966 model. The previous year's model had three turquoise light along the front w/matching buttons. this model just had a fluorescent light and yellow buttons...better looking but like all AMI's it ran -way- fast. I always ground down the motor pulley slightly to make the speed more accurate.

I heard this song on the radio some thirteen years ago. I was twelve at the time, and it was in one of those kitschy 50's diners where the waitresses are on roller skates. It sparked a deep love of doo-wop and old-school rock and roll that burns in my breast to this day.

Also, hot-diggety, that's a fine juke.
