Here's an Ovation CV-68 Viper guitar for you to check out...it was literally just used in church and the Pastor/worship leader didn't play much as there were always AT LEAST 2 other guitar players in the band if not 3...he pretty much just liked to pick it up and play a song here or there for looks (I think) more than anything. Also hasn't been used in a while as he "inherited" his son's Taylor when he upgraded. There are no effects...I'm plugged straight into the amp and there was no editing done afterwards. What you see is what you get. If I forgot anything, just ask...

Merry Christmas and a Happy, Joyful, Peaceful, Prosperous New Year to all! Happy Hanukah to my own family and friends and Happy "whatever holiday it is you might celebrate" to anyone or anything I missed. I am thankful I run my own business and can say what I want to say...what I am led by the Holy Spirit who lives in me to say...we should all be able to celebrate our diversity yet also celebrate and understand what the true meaning of Christmas is...the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ...our (anyone who chooses to believe...John 3:16) Savior.

Thanks for watching and feel free to rate it and leave comments!

  • What kind of strings are you using on this particular guitar? Acoustic or Electric?

  • @Dodgibishi I never use electric strings on my acoustic guitars...but have experimented with so many different strings over the years that I can't remember what I put on here...there is a really light set of GHS strings that looks electric and feels electric but is designed for acoustic/electric...they pretty much sound like electric too...but they did have more output through the pickup (like advertised).

  • @amoebaarmageddon The only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked...:-)...stock nice answer...I wanted to say, MAN, that was a DUMB question! Just kidding...these are just as you say...like an electric...very little volume when not plugged in...the holes are more for looks...

  • @klausbluetner1 If you record it, post it here also as a video response! Thanks for watching!

    Viper Electric Guitar

The ESP LTD Viper-50 is a no-nonsense hard-rock and heavy-metal workhorse that is based on a familiar double-cutaway design, but with a few new twists. It's a budget-oriented version of ESP's popular Viper-Series. Featuring a heavily contoured basswood body with ...

  • @TheEternalLeader You're welcome!

  • @TheEternalLeader Look for the video did for a Standard Fender Strat with a bunch of upgrades including Graphtech parts and the EMG DG-20 David Gilmour setup. I'm not a fan of EMG's but they were nice...and there is no real way to get both Fender and Gibson in one...I like the Fender Noiseless pickups better...they do a "Hot" set that Jeff Beck uses...I have a set of those that I need to install in one of my Strats...hopefully soon and then I'll do a demo of it...

  • @greengtrs Thanks for all your help by the way.

  • @greengtrs That interesting, How do they sound in your opinion? Are they nice and sparkly like a single coil? Do they handle gain well?

I'd like your opinion: What is a good all-around pickup, I mean that I want to find a good pickup ( Any kind ) that has great "Sparkly & Bright" clean sound such as something you'd expect from a lot of Fenders as well as a nice, "Big & Warm" "Crunchy" sound like on a lot of Gibsons. Do you know what I mean? Any suggestions?

  • @TheEternalLeader They definitely make Single Coil sized pickups...David Gilmour has his own set (by EMG).
