geez...how shallow can you get? for all those people critizicing the model... come on! I bet you are all in the washroom right now puking your lunch! we are not all gifted super models! Of course we have flaws and it's better to use a REAL LIFE model for this than one of those super beautiful and plastic ones... because like i said we are not all barbies here! Besides what's really important is what kind of person you are not how you look!

It's amazing how fickle some people are..the video clip is giving free advice and using a realistic looking model to show you how to apply makeup and all people can do is make crude comments about the model's face and how she looks old. Excuse me people but I doubt any of you are supermodels yourself and you should be applauding Marie Claire for not using 19 year olds to give makeup lessons to adults. Real women will appreciate a real model, so they can see what the REAL results look like!

See, I think the general negativity about this tutorial is that they used a "normal" person as a model.. she is not a real beauty, in other words. I think while we get uppity about magazines/media constantly using examples of that which we can never attain is actually reverse in this type of instance! We whine when the woman is not dead gorgeous; we whine when the model and results are anything less than perfect, or at least really stunning.
