@delreydavid Mjeh, more like the early 80's. Maaaybe very late 70's. But progressives have still been around way longer. Neocons had no real influence until the Bush years in my opinion. Progressives have had an influence for decades though. And since when do American news media know what to talk about? I'm not saying they don't suck ass. Chris Mathews included.

@bleunt Generations being how long? Neocons started in the 60's I believe. Still doesnt change the fact that no one in the media talked about all of the Neo cons behind the scenes until around 06, after Bush got put in office again.
