  • Your video is stunning! I was wondering if you would be willing to post this on SchoolTube. I am teaching a lesson on Vollis Simpson and it would be a nice way to introduce his work to the kids. We cannot access youtube from our campus, unfortunately. Thanks for considering and for making this beautiful piece.

  • just went yesterday. I used to go about 8 or 10 years ago and really just did it for something to do stoned. Have matured (or so I like to think) and went and met Mr Simpson. I wanted to buy some of the pieces he has for sale but I only had 60 bucks on me, and he was leaving for the day because it was really cold. I plan to go back next week and talk to him some more. Amazing work by a really nice man. He recently added a new piece, not bad for a 90 year old! i refuse to call it acid park

  • OH. Cool

  • No, it is just for art. It is funny though how no one around here thinks that wind power will work in the area and yet Vollis Simpsons whirligigs are almost always turning.

  • is all that for wind power?

  • Very Nice and so intricate.

We're doing something a bit different here.

Check You Tube TVDOCTOR for the Whirligig Festival.

  • I have been here and watched them whirl..it is awesome and amazing and will take your breath away...you have no idea how huge they are until you stand under them as they tower over you and realize one single man built these by himself !!! I bought one that day from Mr Simpson and got to tour his studio and it was truly an honor...I would love to go back ...if you haven't been "GO" !!!!

  • blows me away!

  • I was there wednesday afternoon and it is very cool.
