We're back for the tenth episode of the Jan and Arjen Sjo! This time, we're going for a different vibe: the jokes have been toned down, and so have the colors. Today's story is a dark one, about some cursed Mayan gold, a lady who's looking for a certain man, and a down-in-the-gutter detective trying to get behind it all.

I liked the whole feel of the film, it stays true to its genre more than the rest.

Having the Lady-Killer say the same thing at the beginning and the end has a great effect.

One thing, though: when you beat someone, it doesn't really look like you beat the shit out of them. It's more of a friendly-pat-on-the-stomach.

Otherwise, this is a great film!

No, I've got downloads, but I burned them to cd. I don't think you can buy those cd's in Holland, unless you import them. The Jazz cd is awesome! Check it out. Also the cadenza remixes, those are good too.

Wait, wait. You've got an actual copy of a Gyakuten cd? I could only find downloads. (I don't think I have a jazz cd, though, but I do have an orchestra one.)

It wasn't easy to find smooth jazz for this movie, so I was glad for my cd of Gyakuten Jazz Soul music. About the punches, well Sjo could hardly beat the crap out of Jan, could he? We weren't expecting to put the punches in, but I had no choice during editing. We've though of a way to make them look better though; for next time.
