Video of Boeing helicopter aircraft during a variety of Combat Search and Rescue missions, or CSAR.

Includes footage showcasing the aircraft's maneuverability and versatility - quick turns and rotations, pulling out of a nosedive, a two-wheel stunt landing to show off its quick deployment capability, search and rescue, pararescue, hoist and lift capability, amphibious transport and recovery, troop deployment via rope, land vehicle deployment, air refueling, flare firing, precarious landings, night and combat missions.

Chopper resembles the Chinook and the new HH-47. Such a cool video!

  • flown mostly by the RAF on this video !! awesome !

  • Yeah, they're called Chinooks, the U.S. military uses them A LOT. Where I live, you can see them fly past sometimes; they are usually about a klick away.

  • I think most of the air show footage is a british demo team, I recognize the part where they drop the door and the chief waves out the back

  • hahah that was fuckin sick

  • not really our army has them to

  • The British seem to love this helicopter. Is it faster than the Osprey V22? I know some have questioned the V22s performance, but one benefit it does have is that it is faster.

I was surprised to find out that the Chinook flies faster than an Apache.

  • WoW

  • this is pretty tight

  • This can be maneuvered more than I thought!

  • So, is the HH-47 going to be purchased after all eh?
