no, it's an example how to setup the terminal window completely transparent, so u can run it without that an actual window appears. ergo, its a desktop terminal. the conky has nothing to do with that

Correction, this is not a how to, but simply a demonstration of Compiz cube, conky (being started at 17 secs) and a transparent terminal with devilspie.
