  • Nice model, I'm interested to know about your power setup, I've just acquired some plans for one of these and keen to try and electric version too.

  • @ebr62933 Hi there, sorryu for the late reply... this plane is set-up with a E-flite 60 electric motor, an e-flite 60amp ESC, and uses 5S 4000mah Rhino batteries. turning a 15x8 prop. OBviously, with that setup I have unlimted vertical and I generally have never put back more than1/2 of the battery pack after a good deal of flying.

  • Hey Bud!

Just wanted to compliment you on an excellent rebuild and say Thank You! for sharing it with all of us. You've inspired me to add a Powerhouse to my list and I'll be using the info you kindly shared in your posts to hopefully do a proper job. If I can do half the job you have, I'll be pleased. Best wishes to you and yours,

    Pudge

  • thanks for the compliment Pudge.... It was alot of fun to "re-build" such a classic plane...

  • What would be a good motor and battery combo for this plane. I will be putting one of these together this summer.
