  • I love your hair it looks really nice. Did you uses a specfic type of yarn?

  • no i just got it from walmart

  • Too get nu locs or "yarn braids" and the place I know to get it done it costs $350 without tipping. That's ridiculous since I'll be getting rid of it in 2 months. It's a nightmare to hear that kind of price when the yarn costs so little and I can invest the time.

  • Yeah your right..I did my own and spend 5 bucks

  • ApHogee is a good product. I used it alot when I was in my transitioning stage of going natural. My hair had stopped breaking off so much. I now use it every now and then. It's some good stuff!

  • Yeah i love it too

  • Hi I like the hair just wondering how do you start off your yarn twists so it twists with your own hair? I am trying to get more into wearing my hair in braids and twists. I just did my own braids with synthetic hair and it took all day literally. So any suggestions I would appreciate. Thanks.

ps I use aphogee too and it works well, but I think i want to make my own shampoos and conditioners because the stuff on the market uses too many chemicals that can be harmful to our hair.

  • beautiful

  • r u from bermuda cause it sounds like it

  • Vegetable glycerin and glycerin are different! Glycerin is animal based and may have some harmful chemicals. But vegetable glycerin is all natural and good for your hair. Glycerin can be found everywhere (ex: walmart), but vegetable glycerin usually can only be found at health food stores etc... Don't use glycerin Nappystar!!!
