It's a good ad, but this type of "see our great suspension" ad has been duplicated many times over. Finding just the right speed for the vehicle is critical to getting this result. In '71, Ford, GM, and Dodge trucks all had independent front suspension. Any one of them could have done this ad with the same result.
I remember seeing another one exactly like this except they used light bulbs on the strip instead of just sparks lol. good stuff though my dad has a 71 can't kill the thing
BEST SUSPENSION EVER DESIGNED AND STUFFED UNDER A PICK UP HANDS DOWN.

I had a 1970 F-250 Regular cab long bed 4x2 with a 360 engine with Twin-I-Beam on the front
It was a beast! Too bad I got rid of it!

@KrankieV2 yes they did. I own one

@nxne75 F-250s did not have the twin I beam suspension, so yes they rode like a real truck, or "tank" in your case.

My '71 F-250 is an awesome truck...but rides like a car? Maybe 40 years ago, LOL. Rides more like a Sherman tank now!
