Bi Kidude is a living legend on her home island of Zanzibar, and has beguiled audiences around the world on her wide and varied travels. A ... all » favourite of sultans, presidents, and sailors, her story is remarkable, challenging our perception of age (she's ninety three, going on sixteen), and of women in a Muslim society. To see her up close in her humble home then out on the town, smoking and flirting is a unique experience.
As Old As My Tongue has been filmed over the last three years in Zanzibar and on tour with Bi Kidude. More than a biography, it is an insight into the politics and personalities of Zanzibar's spicy contemporary society. The soundtrack features a specially commissioned soundscape by co-producer Rita Ray and featuring a hundred years of classical Indian Ocean vibes.

Dont put women down, specially those who are nobelprice, it took a woman to raise you, next time you look into your chest- see those tits you got to remind you came from a woman.

Amazing woman,she a strong and Innteligent Rolemodel for every Woman on tihs Planet.Music is the best medicin.Bikidude your the best,lets hope you become 150 years old.Such a woman should became the Nobelprice.Not the fake People who already have it.
