This is a good video. Its funny how the first reaction of most people is "its so hot under all that material" ... bahaaaa don't they know in HOT countries like Saudi Arabia you pretty much HAVE to cover your head and body cause the sun is too harmful. @AliahBishr It has everything to do with men. Women are made responsible for the lust of men instead of men being man enough to admit that they think about women in a physical sense. Men should man up and stop blaming women's hair for inciting lust. Also the hijab has become a fashion item and girls in the Middle East know that a tight hijab is a good look and even wear colours that flatter their colouring and co-ordinate their make-up with the hijab. I saw that in Egypt myself.

i think, its only fair for non muslim/ secular critics to say why are women covered up, for the west believes in equality of both sexes n completely disregards what roles n responsibilities of islam/god on men n women. What they think about women in islam, in their own modern, flawed, biased opinion n narrow understanding is completely irrelevant to us Muslims, who only wish to attend Salvation n thus are busy obeying the Sharia

@AliahBishr Women hiding their face in public is not a reasonable idea, nor is it the word of a God. I would refuse to communicate with anyone who had their face hidden whilst in my presents, unless it was fancy dress, or dealing with a retarded person. You say it has nothing to do with men, all religions are man-made, thats why there has been so many different faith's and different version of those faith's. The clear lucid answer is staring you in the face the whole time. it's man-made.
